President Obama to Give CBS First Interview on Osama bin Laden Death

President Barack Obama will sit down with 60 Minutes' Steve Kroft on Sunday for his first and only interview since the death of Osama bin Laden, according to CBS News.

The interview, which will be filmed Wednesday at the White House, will air Sunday, May 8 at 7/6c. This will be the president's first sit-down following the death of bin Laden, although he did an interview alongside First Lady Michelle Obama with Oprah that aired Monday, but it was pre-taped and had no discussion of the Al Qaeda leader.

On Sunday night, the president announced that bin Laden was killed in a U.S.-led military operation. Special Forces pulled off the raid in Abbottabad, Pakistan, earlier Sunday and recovered the body of the 9/11 mastermind. "Justice has been done," Obama said in an address to the nation late Sunday.
