Pope Benedict XVI

Does anyone have security anymore? As if the White House party crashers weren't bad enough, a woman toppled the Pope before Christmas Eve mass at the Vatican on Thursday.

Amateur footage, which you can see below, caught an unidentified woman jumping over a barrier inside St. Peter's Basilica as she attempted to tackle Pope Benedict XVI. The woman was immediately taken into custody by guards, MSNBC reported.

The Pope was unhurt and managed to get back on his feet and lead Midnight Mass, which was actually held two hours earlier to accommodate the Pope's wish to go to bed early.
