Religion and faith have always had a place in primetime television. Sometimes, it's been dealt with directly, on shows like Touched By An Angel and 7th Heaven. And sometimes, it's shown more subtly, whether it's the Heck family going to church on The Middle or Finn seeing the face of Jesus in a grilled cheese sandwich on Glee.
