The L.A. County Sheriff's Office launched a raid on Justin Bieber's home Tuesday morning looking for evidence to connect the singer to an incident last week in which his neighbor's house was egged, TMZ reports.
Justin Bieber: A timeline of bad behavior
Police executed a felony search warrant, meaning that Bieber, 19, could face jail time if he's found guilty. In particular, they were seeking surveillance video that might show the egging, according to TMZ. In addition, they can confiscate any other contraband they may find, including drugs.
The raid led to one arrest, with Bieber's BFF Lil Za being taken into custody for cocaine possession after having the drug "in plain view" during the raid, TMZ reports.
Bieber's next-door neighbor has accused the teen of splattering several eggs against the wall of his house. This is just the latest in a string of run-ins the teen has had with his neighbors, ranging from complaints about him speeding in the community to an accusation that he spit on a man during an argument last year.
"We didn't do this search warrant to send a message ... but we hope understanding the gravity of this will change the behavior," the L.A. County Sheriff. "We hope that we can give the neighborhood the quality of life that they deserve."
