Pilot Season: Scrubs Alum Sarah Chalke Lands Lead in ABC Comedy

Scrubs alum Sarah Chalke will star in ABC's pilot How to Live With Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life.

The comedy, written by Accidentally on Purpose creator Claudia Lonow, is loosely based on Lonow's life. Lonow will also serve as executive producer alongside Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo. Chalke's casting was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter and confirmed by TVGuide.com.

Chalke will portray Polly, a newly divorced woman who ends up moving in with her over-the-top parents Elaine and Max. No word yet on who will play the couple.

Aside from her role on Scrubs, Chalke has also appeared on How I Met Your Mother, Roseanne and CBS' Mad Love, which was canceled in May after one season.
