Pilot Season: ABC orders Mandy Moore comedy
Written by Bobby Bowman, the show focuses on a man (Bornheimer) who is forced to put his dreams on hold to take over a family handyman business from his father. Bowman's credits include serving as an executive producer of My Name is Earl and writer for Raising Hope and Yes, Dear.
The pilot is based on the British comedy of the same name.
Other than his role on Worst Week, Bornheimer has appeared in NBC's Perfect Couples and ABC's Romantically Challenged.
