Pilot News: CBS Eyes Dramas about FBI, Federal Prosecutors and 9/11

In addition to its previously announced spin-off of NCIS, CBS has given a go-ahead to three other drama pilots, two of which also come from creative minds very familiar to the Eye.

From Criminal Minds boss Ed Bernero comes Washington Field, which revolves around the National Capital Response Squad, a team of experts from various fields who trot the globe responding to events of interest to the United States. (Dollars to donuts this gets renamed NCRS before the day is done.)

The Unit co-executive producer Frank Military (fitting name, no?), meanwhile, is developing for CBS a legal drama about federal prosecutors in the U.S. Attorney's office in New York City.

Lastly, says the Hollywood Reporter, Back centers on a man who returns home only to discover that he was reported missing eight years prior, immediately after the 9/11 terror attacks. He then must piece together fractured relationships and make sense of his lost time.
