Pilot News: Mr. Dimples Goes to Washington, Polo Plays His Wife

Eddie Cibrian and Teri Polo have been tapped to play husband and wife on Washington Field, CBS' drama pilot from Criminal Minds boss Ed Bernero and revolving around an elite team of globe-trotting FBI experts. Think Super Friends, but minus the annoying purple monkey.
Cibrian's character, Tommy, is the response team's coordinator and a hazmat expert, says the Hollywood Reporter, while Polo will play Amanda, a medical forensics whiz.
Cibrian's most recent TV credits include guest spots on, well, virtually every ABC series produced in the past three years (but most recently, Ugly Betty). Of course, he also starred on Third Watch and Invasion. Heck, let's also throw in Vanished!
Polo, best known for playing opposite Ben Stiller in the Meet the Parents pics, recently guested on TV's Ghost Whisperer and before that costarred on David E. Kelley's short-lived The Wedding Bells.
