Alona Tal will still be hunting down the bad guys again on The CW.
The former Supernatural actress, best known for playing the ill-fated hunter-bartender Jo, will play a cop in the drama pilot Cult, TVGuide.com has learned.

But there's a twist: Tal will be playing an actress named Kelly Collins who is in turn portraying a young LAPD detective on a wildly popular television show called Cult. It's suspected that fans of the series are re-creating crimes on the program in real life.
Former Melrose Place reboot star Jessica Lucas was previously announced to play, Skye, a young production assistant on the show who joins a journalist blogger investigating the fans.

Rockne O'Bannon will write and executive-produce alongside Gossip Girl duo Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage and Len Goldstein.
Tal's credits also include Veronica Mars, The Killing, Pretty Little Liars and Monk.
