Set in a 1991 Pittsburgh suburb, the coming-of-age story focuses on Charlie (Logan Lerman), a shy high school freshman struggling to fit in while hiding a secret from his past. Seniors Sam (Emma Watson) and her gay stepbrother Patrick (Ezra Miller) take the young outcast under their wings and help him find his place. The star-studded cast also includes Dylan McDermott, Kate Walsh, Nina Dobrev and Paul Rudd.
Funny, dark and full of heart, Perks is likely to please both fans of the book and newcomers to Charlie's story. Watch the trailer below.
