Piper Perabo Spies Covert Role in New USA Series

Piper Perabo has landed the lead role in Covert Affairs, a USA Network spy-thriller pilot expected to be ordered to series later this month.
Perabo will play Annie Walker, a top-shelf CIA trainee who excels at every skill, says the Hollywood Reporter.

The next key role to be filled is that of Auggie, a blind tech expert who assists Annie in her assignments.
Perabo's breakout role was the 2000 film Coyote Ugly. More recently, she guest-starred on the June 7 episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and completed a Broadway run in Reasons to Be Pretty.
Perabo next stars opposite Chris Pine in Carriers, a thriller about a viral pandemic.
