Paula Abdul's first post-American Idol gig involves plenty of singers, but they're anything but amateurs: The ex-judge is set to host the VH1 Divas special.
"Hi guys! im really excited 2 announce ill b hosting this year's "Vh1 Divas"!The show will be live on Sept 17th @ 9 pm EST," Abdul wrote on Twitter.

The special — the network's first since 2004 — will feature Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis, Miley Cyrus and Jordin Sparks, the network announced. Like previous Divas concerts, a portion of the proceeds will go to the VH1 Save the Music Foundation.
The concert will be held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, N.Y.
