Watch out, Ellen DeGeneres! It looks like Paula Abdul may be moving in on your job.
While hosting VH1's Divas Live on Thursday, Abdul boogied down the aisle of the Brooklyn Academy of Music dressed as DeGeneres, who is replacing Abdul on American Idol.
DeGeneres on Idol: "I Don't Want Anybody to Think That I Took Paula's Job Away"
Wearing a short blonde wig, black pantsuit and sneakers, Abdul did her best Ellen-esque dance taking a seat on a stage set that mimicked the look of DeGeneres' daytime talk show.
"Why are you all staring at me? Can't a girl try out a new job?" Abdul joked. Kidding aside, the 47-year-old host took a moment to wish the daytime diva all the best.
"[I have] nothing but love for Ellen, and I wish you the best of luck and congratulations on your new gig. And call me! You got to call me if you have any Simon problems, because, you know, I know him best."
