Investigators have concluded that Paul Walker's fatal car crash in November was caused by unsafe speed and not mechanical problems, The Associated Press reports.

The Porsche Carrera GT the Fast and the Furious star and his friend Roger Rodas were traveling in was going between 81 and 94 mph in a 45-mph speed limit zone at the time of the crash, according to calculations by accident reconstruction specialists. Engineers found no issues with the car's electrical systems, brakes, throttle, fuel system and steering systems.
Rodas lost control of the vehicle on the suburban street and crashed into a light pole. Both men died at the scene.
Walker was in the midst of filming Fast and Furious 7 at the time of his death. Production was shut down for months, but recently started up again. Walker's character Brian will still be still featured in the film, with the possibility of using CGI and body doubles for new scenes.
