Tony Parker says he wasn't shocked when Eva Longoria filed for divorce earlier this week.
"Eva and Tony have been discussing their situation privately," a rep for the basketball star told Us Weekly in a statement. "He was aware that she would be filing for divorce in Los Angeles."

Longoria filed papers Wednesday, a day after her rep denied a TMZ report that said Parker had done the same in Texas.
"He did not file for divorce in Texas and did not hire divorce attorneys in either Texas or California," Parker's rep said. "He plans to continue to keep their discussions of this matter private."

The Desperate Housewives star and San Antonio Spurs point guard had been married for three years. The actress cited "irreconcilable differences" and requested spousal support in the papers. Longoria, who took Parker's name after their wedding, also asked for her maiden name to be restored.

Neither Longoria nor Parker gave a reason for their divorce, but the couple had long endured reports of infidelity on Parker's part. In its new issue, Us Weekly reports that the Longoria split from Parker after finding hundreds of text messages between him and a mutual female friend that date back for a year. According to People, the woman is Erin Barry, the estranged wife of Parker's former teammate, Brent Barry. The Barrys filed for divorce last month.
