Paranormal Activity 3

Paranormal Activity 3 didn't just beat its two predecessors in its debut weekend — it beat every other horror movie in history to become the best horror movie opening ever, Box Office Mojo reports.

The film scared up an estimated $54 million in its opening weekend, also topping last year's Jackass 3D as the highest fall opening of all time.
