Palin Pokes Fun at Herself on Tonight Show

Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin made light of what Jay Leno described as "the whole writing-on-your-hand thing" by calling it the "poor-boy's version of a teleprompter" during her appearance on The Tonight Show.

The former Alaskan governor defended her note-taking system on Tuesday by explaining the three points written on her hand and adding that she's going to continue using her palm for notes, "just to get the left all wee-wee'd up and get their heads spinnin'!

Palin, looking comfortable and relaxed in jeans, also participated in Leno's opening sketch, in which she told the late-night host they're "goin' old school" by using their hands instead of cue cards. She even cracked a few jokes for the crowd later in the episode.
