Lee Pace, Linus Roache

Pushing Daisies star Lee Pace, Law & Order's Linus Roache and Generation Kill's Stark Sands have joined HBO's new pilot The Miraculous Year, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The drama will focus on a New York family as seen through the eyes of a self-destructive Broadway composer. The trio joins Hope Davis, Frank Langella and Patti LuPone in the cast.

Kathryn Bigelow heads to HBO for Miraculous Year

Academy Award winner Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker) is attached to direct the pilot. She will also serve as executive producer, alongside two-time Oscar nominee John Logan (Gladiator, The Aviator), who wrote the pilot, and Lydia Pilcher.

An e-mail to HBO was not immediately returned.
