Oprah Brings Sexually Charged Pilot to HBO

Oprah Winfrey is bringing a sexy new pilot to HBO, according to Variety.

The Oprah Winfrey Show to end in 2011

Oprah's Harpo Films has made a deal with the premium cable network to create an hourlong series about a woman who walks out on her perfect life, marriage and children to fulfill her secret fantasies and desires in L.A.

"It is unsentimental and pretty shocking, and there is something complicated and destructive driving her," Harpo Films President Kate Forte told Variety. "It is literally a day at the pool, where she gets up, in sarong and flip-flops, and walks out of her life, leaving everyone behind so abruptly that her husband and kids initially think she's been kidnapped or murdered."

Both Oprah and Forte will be executive producers on the project, joined by Erin Cressida Wilson, who is set to pen the pilot.
