Erika Slezak, Jerry Ver Dorn
Monday marks the 45th anniversary of One Life to Live, as well as its debut on the OWN network, but while the actors may have cause for celebration, many of their on-screen counterparts do not.
On Monday's episode, Viki (Erika Slezak) and Clint (Jerry verDorn) are in the middle of another rough patch, with Viki still reeling from a recent financial near-disaster, as well as the knowledge that Clint filed a restraining order on behalf of their daughter Natalie (Melissa Archer) against her on-again, off-again love, John McBain (Michael Easton).
OWN to broadcast One Life to Live and All My Children
"It's Murphy's law. If it can go wrong, it will," Slezak tells TVGuide.com of her on-screen love life. "Their relationship is in for kind of a wild ride, I think."
Adds Slezak: "[Clint] wants to take care of everybody. And he oversteps of course, always, as to how he goes about it. But the road to hell is paved with good intentions."
Based on the clip below, exclusive to TVGuide.com, Viki may be ready to call off their engagement. Will she and Clint survive this latest dustup?
One Life to Live will air four back-to-back episodes on OWN beginning at 2 p.m. ET/PT Monday. Episodes will also be available on Hulu and iTunes.
