The Office Exclusive: Josh Groban to Return as Andy's Brother

Josh Groban, Ed Helms

Someone from Andy's (Ed Helms) past is coming back on The Office, but this time he's singing a very different tune.

Josh Groban is returning as Andy's younger brother, Walter Jr., TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

The Office's "new Jim" speaks! Jake Lacy calls joining the last season a "win-win"

Walter Jr. was first introduced last season, along with Andy's parents, at his garden party at Schrute Farms. Although it was made very clear that Walter Jr. was his parents' favorite — much to Andy's dismay — a lot has changed in the year since we last saw the Nard Dog's baby bro. In the Nov. 1 episode, titled "The Boat," Walter Jr. pops back up as a drunk who has fallen from grace.

In addition to The Office, Groban has also appeared on Glee and Crazy, Stupid, Love., in addition to his busy singing career.

The Office airs Thursdays at 9/8c on NBC.

Are you excited that Andy's brother is coming back to town? Will Andy be able to help Walter Jr. get back on his feet?
