The Office Scoop: David Denman to Return in Season 9

David Denman will be returning to The Office in the upcoming ninth season, TVLine.com reports.
Denman will reprise his role as Roy, Pam's (Jenna Fisher) former fiancé who used to butt heads with Jim (John Krasinski) and was eventually fired. Denman is set to appear in the second episode of the season.

Denman hasn't regularly appeared at Dunder Mifflin since Season 3. Since then, he's appeared in Fox's short-lived comedy Traffic Light and Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva.
The Office returns Thursday, Sept. 20 at 9/8c on NBC.
