Obama Appearing on Daily Show

President Barack Obama will appear on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart next week ahead of the midterm elections and Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity.
Obama will tape his appearance on Oct. 27, three days before Stewart's rally on the National Mall, White House spokesman Dan Pfeiffer said. The president has previously endorsed Stewart's event, a joint venture with Stephen Colbert that was created in response to Glenn Beck's rally in August.

This will be Obama's first appearance on The Daily Show since entering office. He last appeared just before the presidential elections in 2008.
