Nikita Exclusive: Meet Michael's Blast From His Division Past

Swedish actress Helena Mattsson has landed a recurring role on Nikita, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.

Mattsson, who's appeared on Desperate Housewives, will play Cassandra, a sophisticated political figure who created some emotional entanglements for Michael (Shane West) during one of his past Division missions. When Michael finds out that his actions have now put Cassandra in danger, he must rescue her at the risk of opening old wounds.
Besides Housewives, in which she recurred as Irina, Mattsson has guest-starred on The Mentalist, Detroit 1-8-7 and Two and a Half Men.
Season 2 of Nikita premieres Friday, Sept. 23 at 8/7c on the CW. The Season 1 DVD hit stores Tuesday.
