David Keith has signed on to guest-star on the new season of Nikita, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
As we first reported, Nikita (Maggie Q) will uncover information in the black box that points the way to her father (Keith), a former CIA operative, who's been hiding out after a run-in with the government. The question of whether he truly is the titular character's pops remains to be seen.

Keith, who's best known for his role in An Officer and a Gentleman, will first appear in the sixth episode of Season 2, which premieres Friday, Sept. 23 at 8/7c on The CW.
