Lizzy Caplan to Party Down on New Girl

Jess may be heartbroken, but one of her friends is ready to jump back into the dating scene. Party Down alum Lizzy Caplan will romance one of the New Girl's roommates in a multi-episode arc, TVLine reports.
Caplan, 29, will appear in three episodes as Julia, a love interest for Nick (Jake Johnson). He meets the art history graduate at an art gallery and invites her to Schmidt's birthday party. However, he soon worries that his eccentric roommates will scare her away. Did we mention that marijuana, Jess' vice principal and a feisty stripper will also be present at this shindig?

Aside from her role on the cult favorite Starz comedy, Caplan is also best known for True Blood and Mean Girls.
