Rob Reiner and Jamie Lee Curtis have been tapped to play Jess' parents on New Girl, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Bob and Joan will pop up during the Thanksgiving-themed episode, in which Jess (Zooey Deschanel) tries to get her divorced parents back together using a "parent trap."
The holiday episode is a family affair since Reiner (A Few Good Men, When Harry Met Sally...) and Curtis (Halloween, NCIS) will appear in the same episode as Rob Riggle, who will play Schmidt's (Max Greenfield) cousin.
New Girl returns with two new episodes on Tuesday, Sept. 25 on Fox.
