Robby is described as a genuinely nice guy who is an embarrassingly bad dancer and deaf in one ear. Basically, he's the anti-Schmidt. Franklin will appear in the Season 2 premiere, which airs on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 8/7c on Fox.
After hooking up (mostly in secret) for half of the season, Schmidt and Cece (Hannah Simone) broke up in the season finale when he decided she could never be happy with a guy like him — despite her growing feelings for him.
