Ne-Yo is expecting his first child.
"I am 30 and I do have my first child on the way, and I am very, very, very excited about that," the R&B singer-producer told Ebony magazine.

Monyetta Shaw, Ne-Yo's girlfriend, is due in early 2011.
Ne-Yo is perhaps best known for his hits "Miss Independent" and "Closer," but he has also written songs for such artists as Mario and Mary J. Blige. His fourth album drops in September.
