Talk Show Host Nate Berkus Hospitalized

Designer and talk show host Nate Berkus has been hospitalized and is expected to undergo surgery for appendicitis.
Despite feeling ill, Berkus, 39, made an appearance on the Today show Tuesday. "He powered through and then went straight to the hospital after that and they learned he had appendicitis," a rep for The Nate Berkus Show told People.

Berkus will postpone scheduled tapings of his syndicated show, but he hopes return to work next week. "Doctors expect a quick recovery," the rep said.
