TV Guide Network's highest-rated series will return for a second season on Sunday, Aug. 19 at 9/8c.
Produced by Sally Ann Salsano and 495 Productions, the team behind Jersey Shore, the reality series stars Katie Cazorla, the owner of Hollywood celebrity nail salon The Painted Nail, who juggles her professional life and her relationship with her Grammy-winning fiancé Walter Afanasieff. The show delivered the highest ratings for an original TV Guide Network series premiere last summer.
TV Guide Network renews Nail Files for Season 2
The new season kicks off with a branded mobile spa tour that will bring Cazorla to 10 cities across the country, including San Diego, Denver, Portland, Ore., and San Francisco.
"In the first season of any show, people are always on their best behavior," Salsano said in a statement. "Coming back for Season 2 of Nail Files, our original cast really lets loose. Katie's business was just getting off the ground in Season 1. Now, it is super successful, and she has twice as many people on staff, which brings 100 times more drama into her life. The Painted Nail still has the best manicure on the planet, and Katie still has me hanging on every word as I ask myself, 'Did she really say that? Yes, she did.'"
