It's another cop drama!
CBS' new series NYC 22 takes viewers straight to the mean streets of New York through the perspective of a new batch of rookies on their first day on the job. There are those who take the oath just to put on the cool badge and uniform, those who come gun-ready, those connected to the streets and those who come from a long line of officers. Each and every one of them is trying to prove themselves.

While there were several mishaps during their first tour — gang fights and gun standoffs, to name a few — this group of rookies (Terry Kinney, Adam Goldberg and Leelee Sobieski, among them) weren't the worst on the force, so there's still room for them to hit rock bottom or actually make a name for themselves.
