NCIS Promotes Brian Dietzen to Series Regular

Brian Dietzen

Brian Dietzen will be sticking around NCIS.

The 34-year-old actor, who portrays Jimmy Palmer on the CBS series, has been promoted to a series regular for the 10th season, Entertainment Weekly reports.

"I'm very excited," Dietzen told the magazine. "After eight years of being with the show, I got a contract with CBS, and I couldn't be happier about it."

Rocky Carroll returning to NCIS

The promotion makes sense considering Dietzen was the right-hand man to David McCallum's Ducky, who suffered a heart attack in the season finale.

Are you glad Dietzen will be sticking around?
