The Unit star Abby Brammell has been enlisted to guest-star in an upcoming episode of NCIS, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
NCIS: How will Gibbs' past affect the rest of the team?
In an episode titled "Short Fuse," Brammell, 31, will play a bomb tech who becomes linked to a homicide. During the investigation, the NCIS team will have to dig into her character's very guarded personal life for answers.
Best known for her role as adulterous housewife Tiffy Gerhardt on The Unit, Brammell has also held recurring roles on Six Feet Under, The Shield and Star Trek: Enterprise. She most recently appeared on such shows as Lie to Me, Castle and The Mentalist.
NCIS kicked off its eighth season Tuesday at 8/7c on CBS. Brammell's episode is slated to air Tuesday, Oct. 5.
