NBC Gets Ready for a Sing-Off; Announces Holiday Specials
The Sing-Off
NBC will premiere its new singing competition special The Sing-Off on Monday, Dec. 14. The four-night show will feature a cappella groups from across the country competing for a recording contract with Eric Records/Sony Entertainment.
Besides the premiere of The Sing-Off, NBC announced dates for special episodes of several other series.

On Thanksgiving, The Jay Leno Show will host a special military audience and welcome guest Meghan Fox. NBC's Thursday comedy lineup will feature new holiday episodes of Community, Parks and Recreation, The Office and 30 Rock on Dec. 10. The following week, Saturday Night Live will take over Thursday with a new two-hour special Saturday Night Live Christmas 2009.
