Rob Lowe is sticking with NBC. The network has given a pilot order to his tennis comedy The Pro, TVGuide.com has learned.
Set in and around a tennis and golf club, the Parks and Recreation star will play a former doubles champion who is reunited with his ex-partner after a public feud that ruined both their lives. Lowe, who is leaving Parks and Recreation in the Jan. 30 episode, will executive-produce alongside Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory (King of the Hill), who will also write, and Todd Holland (Malcolm in the Middle), who will direct. Karey Burke (Go On) and Marc Gurvitz (According to Jim) are also attached as executive producers.

NBC has also ordered a pilot for Lifesaver, a multi-camera odd couple comedy in which two polar opposites become inextricably linked after one donates a kidney to the other. Former Friends executive producer Wil Calhoun will write and executive-produce the pilot alongside Peter Traugott (Samantha Who?) and Rachel Kaplan (Do No Harm).
