Conan O'Brien

A top NBC exec says there is no tension with Conan O'Brien over the network's attempt to move his show later each night.

Leno leaving 10 o'clock timeslot; late-night changes proposed for Conan and Jimmy

"I think there's a lot of conversation," NBC President Angela Bromstad told TVGuide.com. "There's been a lot of serious consideration, but I don't feel that there's tension necessarily. Honestly, these talks are ongoing; everything is fluid."

If Jay Leno moves to 11:35, O'Brien's Tonight Show would shift to a 12:05 start time.

What will replace Jay Leno at 10?

As for the possibility of O'Brien leaving the network (Fox has stated that Conan "would be a great fit" in their lineup), Bromstad says they're not ruling anything out. "We always have to think about failure, about worst-case scenario, about success. We're always forward-thinking."
