NBC has ordered Dick Wolf's Chicago Fire to series, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Headlined by House's Jesse Spencer, the action-drama focuses on the men and women of the Chicago Fire Department. Eamonn Walker, Monica Raymund, David Eigenberg, Taylor Kinney, Lauren German, Merle Dandridge, Teri Reeves and Charlie Barnett will co-star. Derek Haas and Michael Brandt will write and executive-produce alongside Wolf, whose other show, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit was renewed by NBC earlier Wednesday.
