Like Revolution before it, an extended preview of NBC's new comedy The New Normal will air Friday during the Olympics.

Glee's Ryan Murphy executive-produces this comedy about a gay couple — Book of Mormon's Andrew Rannells and The Hangover's Justin Bartha — who try to start a family with the help of a surrogate (Georgia King). Ellen Barkin also stars as the surrogate's disapproving grandmother.
The special preview will air during the Women's BMX finals competition, around 11:17pm EST.
The New Normal premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 9:30/8:30c on NBC.
