NBC Adds Third Thursday Night Comedy Hour; Unveils Midseason Prime-Time Schedule

30 Rock, Parks and Recreation
NBC is adding a third hour of comedy on Thursday nights, the network announced Monday.
The new lineup, which begins Jan. 20, will feature Community in its same slot at 8/7c, followed by the new comedy Perfect Couples, starring Olivia Munn and Kyle Bornheimer. The Office will remain at 9/8c, with Parks and Recreation returning at 9:30/8:30c. The new hour will kick off with 30 Rock, which was renewed Monday for the 2011-2012 season, and Outsourced following.
(About 30 Rock being re-upped, Angela Bromstad, the network's prime-time boss, said: "It continues to be a bold, hilarious, sophisticated comedy that has become a classic in its own time.")
Other notable shifts include the new action series The Cape added to Mondays and leading in to Harry's Law. Law & Order: Los Angeles moves to Tuesdays at 10/9c beginning Feb. 8 and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit pushes back to 10/9c on Wednesdays.
