Michael Imperioli has joined the cast of Jason Katims' medical pilot County, TVGuide.com has confirmed. TVLine.com first reported the news.
Parenthood's Jason Ritter stars in the drama about a group of young doctors, nurses and administrators in an underfunded and morally compromising Los Angeles hospital. Imperioli, best-known for playing Christopher Moltisanti on The Sopranos, will portray a veteran doctor who oversees the new interns.

As previously announced, Friday Night Lights' Michael B. Jordan, Aimee Garcia, Jess Weixler and Agam Darshi will also star.
Besides his Emmy-winning role on the HBO mob series, Imperioli's other TV credits include Law & Order, Life on Mars and Detroit 1-8-7.
