Get ready for another singing competition show on NBC.
The network is launching The Winner Is, which will pit singers of all ages against each other to be judged by an in-studio panel led by a yet-to-be-determined celebrity.
Sounds like your typical singing competition, right? But wait — there's a twist! Before the contestants learn if they've made it to the next round, they have the opportunity to negotiate a deal: accept a predetermined cash prize in exchange for their withdrawal or take a chance of losing it all in the hopes of continuing the game.

For the lucky eight that do make it to the finale, they'll battle it out until only two remain. The finalists will then have the choice to walk away with $100,000 or risk it all, hoping the jury and viewer votes swing their way and land them the coveted $1 million prize.

The show comes from The Voice creator and producer John de Mol.
"Talented singers and the show's surprising competitive twist, with the possibility of negotiating a deal to step out of the game, will have viewers engaged and entertained," Paul Telegdy, president of NBC alternative programming, said.
