NBC has picked up a comedy pilot from Jack Black, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The show revolves around a man who's fixated on self-improvement and tackles difficult experiments and lifestyles, much to his family's annoyance.

The project is based on A.J. Jacobs' nonfiction book The Guinea Pig Diaries: My Life as an Experiment. 'Til Death scribes Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa will write the show.
The 41-year-old Black appeared on Community and iCarly earlier this year.
