Freddie Prinze Jr. has joined the cast of the NBC pilot from Happy Endings and Community writer Hilary Winston.
The comedy focuses on a shy, focused woman (Sarah Wright) who leans on her co-workers to help her come out of her shell while she plots revenge after being dumped by her fiancé (Prinze Jr.). As previously announced, Mena Suvari, Kyle Howard, Aubrey Dollar and Joanna Kerns will also star.

The husband of Ringer and Buffy star Sarah Michelle Gellar is well-known for his roles in I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scooby-Doo and She's All That. He also appeared in the final season of 24.
Winston will write and executive-produce the pilot alongside Happy Endings' Jamie Tarses.
