J.J. Abrams is bringing a second show to life next season, this time on NBC, according to Variety.

After Fox bought Abrams' script for a half-hour medical comedy, a bidding war between ABC, NBC and CBS raged for his new action-adventure series. Wednesday night, NBC came out the victor.
