Murphy: Glee's Second Season Will Be Supersized

Glee

There will be more Glee to love next season.

Glee scoop: Breakups, shake-ups and more!

"Season 2 will be much bigger and much longer," executive producer Ryan Murphy said. "I think more episodes. We're talking about maybe doing 25, as opposed to 22."

Fox did not immediately respond to TVGuide.com's request for confirmation of the additional episodes.

Murphy added that he already has the first four years mapped out and Season 2 might find New Directions hitting the road. "As a kid I loved it when The Brady Bunch went to Hawaii," he said. "I want them to go to some competition that's in New York. I think that's what we're thinking about."

As for what the show will look like when it returns on April 13, Murphy joked, "Bigger, better, funnier, no pregnancies."
