CW Resurrects Moonlight

Alex O'Loughlin

The CW is going to have a vampire night.

On Thursdays this summer, the network will air the canceled CBS series Moonlight, starring Alex O'Loughlin as vampire detective Mick St. John, following repeats of The Vampire Diaries.

Moonlight was canceled after its first season because of poor ratings. The CW passed on picking up the series to try a Sunday night lineup — including Valentine and Easy Money — that eventually failed.

Moonlight will debut on the CW on June 3 at 9/8c.
