Singer Monica Marries Shannon Brown… for the Second Time

Singer Monica and Los Angeles Laker Shannon Brown traded "I do's" Saturday for the second time, People reports.
The couple, who quietly wed in November, held a large ceremony for hundreds of family and friends.
The wedding took place at a renovated 19th-century cathedral in downtown Los Angeles with guests including LaLa Vazquez, Carmelo Anthony and Brown's teammates Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher. The bride, 30, wore a Stephan Rowland gown. The blue-and-purple-themed reception featured a sit-down, three-course dinner.

The couple met in June 2010 when Brown, 25, appeared in Monica's music video for "Love All Over Me." Brown popped the question in October and the two tied the knot a month later in their Los Angeles home. Monica has two children, Rodney Jr., 6, and Romelo, 3, with ex-fiancé Rodney "Rocko" Hill. Brown also has a child from a previous relationship.
Monica, who most recently appeared on The Voice, is currently working on her seventh studio album, New Life, set to hit stores in October.
