Modern Family's Nolan Gould Has Some Good Luck

Nolan Gould

What did Nolan Gould do on his hiatus from playing dim-witted Luke Dunphy on ABC's Emmy-winning sitcom Modern Family? Instead of taking the summer off, the soon-to-be 12-year-old (his birthday is October 28) kept busy with gigs in the upcoming Justin Timberlake film Friends With Benefits and this week's episode of Good Luck Charlie.

On the Disney Channel kid-com airing Sundays at 8:30/7:30c, Gould plays Zander, a guest at the first sleepover of 10-year-old Gabe Duncan (Bradley Steven Perry). He describes his character as "pretty hyper," especially after the Duncan family makes the mistake of feeding him sugar.

"He goes crazy the rest of the night," laughs Gould, who jokes that Zander may not get another invite to Gabe's house, but personally he'd jump at the chance to visit Good Luck Charlie again — or, better yet, have series star Perry come on Modern Family as one of Luke's buddies.
