The Big C's John Benjamin Hickey Joins The Mob Doctor

John Benjamin Hickey has landed a recurring role on Fox's The Mob Doctor, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

The Big C alum will play Mark Easton, the father of Gilford's Dr. Brett Robinson. According to The Hollywood Reporter, who first broke the news, Mark is a federal prosecutor who is feared by both the corrupt politicians and the mob.

The Mob Doctor's antihero will cross the line

The series stars Jordana Spiro as a young female thoracic surgeon with roots in Bridgeport, Conn., where she juggles her career and her lifelong debt to the South Chicago mob, which is headed up by William Forsythe's Constantine.

The Mob Doctor premieres Monday, Sept. 17 at 9/8c on Fox.
